Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men's Structure 25 Road Running Shoes are designed to provide stability and support. While the Structure is now on its 25th edition, and it has gone through a lot of change over the years. We expect this version of the Structure to be a great option for runners seeking supportive Nike shoes.
Wearers of the Structure 24 will notice the significant design updates to the Structure 25.
The ambition behind the design? Stability where you need it. Cushioning where you want it.
Underfoot Feel
The Structure 25's midsole features new cushioning: Cushlon 3.0. Offering a soft underfoot feel, with some responsiveness. The significant amount of foam in the midsole - built on a wider base - is there to help with support as well as cushioning.
The midsole is shaped like a rocker. Designed to help you to transition through the gait cycle in a comfortable and efficient way.
There is a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. Zoom Air units are traditionally associated with spring and energy return. The Zoom Air unit helps to provide a responsive cushioning from part of the shoe. However, we want to emphasise that the Structure should not be expected to feel as lively as shoes with ZoomX foam in the midsole.
Upper Fit
The Structure 25 has been designed with an accommodating fit. Especially at the forefoot, which is wide and complements the wider base.
Significant structure around the heel results in a more supportive fit.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Men's Structure 25 Road Running Shoes are supposed to offer more stability than neutral running shoes. We recommend the Structure 25 for your easy to steady-paced runs. If you are looking for support for greater ranges of pronation, then the Nike Structure 25 is well worth considering.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
