Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men's Pegasus 41 Blueprint Road Running Shoes are part of the Nike Blueprint Pack. The Blueprint colourway is inspired by Nike's co-founder, Bill Bowerman, who - in the words of Nike - created "the blueprint for serving athletes".
The Pegasus 41 are the first in the Nike Pegasus line to feature Nike's ReactX midsole foam.
ReactX foam is engineered to reduce its carbon footprint by at least 43% in a pair of midsoles due to reduced manufacturing process energy compared to prior React foam. The carbon footprint of ReactX is based on cradle-to-gate assessment reviewed by PRé Sustainability B.V and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as airbags, plates or other foam formulations were not considered.
The Pegasus 41 are neutral road running shoes. Designed to be durable, dependable and comfortable.
Underfoot Feel
The ReactX foam in the midsole provides responsive cushioning. In comparison to previous React technology, the foam is 13% more responsive.
The responsive nature of the Peg 41's cushioning isn't solely a result of the ReactX foam. There is one Zoom Air unit in the heel and another in the forefoot - which also help to deliver responsive cushioning.
Nike's signature waffle-inspired rubber outsole - with grooves for added flexibility - provides durable traction on the road.
Upper Fit
The Pegasus 41 has an engineered mesh upper - which delivers breathability.
A new Dynamic Midfoot Fit system helps with support, durability and comfort. The laces are tied to an internal midfoot band that wraps around the foot.
Comfort is enhanced through the extra padding on the collar, tongue and sockliner.
If you liked the fit of the Peg 40, you should like the fit of the Peg 41. That's because the Peg 41 is built on the same last as the Peg 40.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Men's Pegasus 41 Blueprint Road Running Shoes are neutral road running shoes. They are best suited to daily training runs at steady to moderate paces. Thanks to their responsiveness, they should feel comfortable at faster speeds too.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
